Regular Season Round 28: FMP BG - Igokea 82-102

Rather predictable result when fifth ranked BosnianIgokea (19-10) rolled over 8th ranked Serbian FMP BG (14-14) in Beograd 102-82 on Saturday. Igokea shot 60.3 percent from the field. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The winners were led by American point guard Bryce Jones (183-1994, college: Murray St.) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 15 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists and Serbian power forward Strahinja Gavrilovic (204-1993, college: USC) supported him with 19 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Jones is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Igokea players scored in double figures. Even 22 points and 6 rebounds by forward Dusan Radosavljevic (201-2001) did not help to save the game for FMP BG . American center Jake Stephens (213-1999, college: Chattanooga) added 22 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending Bosnian champion maintains fifth position with 19-10 record. Loser FMP BG dropped to the ninth place with 14 games lost.
